PBA D-League: NLEX beats Big Chill in Game 1 of semis

MANILA, Philippines — Defending champion NLEX continued to roll as it beat Big Chill, 66-59, in Game 1 of their best-of-three duel Tuesday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Blue Eagle Gym.
Kirk Long had 14 points and four assists to help the Road Warriors chalk up their 10th straight win after losing their first two games of the conference.

Jake Pascual added a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Terrence Romeo scored 21 points for the Superchargers but had a bad shooting game – missing 10 of his 16 attempts.
Big Chill, which also got 11 points and 15 rebounds, hung around but just didn’t have enough to pull off the upset down the stretch.
