Mikee cinch to become PH rep to IOC


FORMER Asian Games gold medalist Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski is close to becoming the next International Olympic Committee representative to the Philippines. Cojuangco-Jaworski made it into the final list of nominees whose membership will be ratified during the 125th IOC session in Buenos Aires, Argentina in September. Philippine Olympic Committee first vice president Joey Romasanta yesterday confirmed that the IOC executive board approved the selection of Cojuangco-Jaworski. June Navarro

    look at this honourable and remarkable story…..sports story…..such pride this circumstance brings…..and yet, the media gives this two sentences…….way to go, Ms. Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski!!!! compared to the media coverage over the “illusion” of a boxing man who wants to become president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the media can play a tremendously powerful force in shaping value reformation of this country – if it only stops looking into the commercial side of this responsibilities!!!!!
