Bullpups, Baby Tamaraws triumph in UAAP 76 juniors’ basketball

MANILA, Philippines — National University imposed its will on Adamson for a 67-43 victory Saturday in the UAAP season 76 juniors’ basketball competition at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Hubert Cani carried the Bullpups with 14 points, Manuel Mosquedo with 13 and Jonas Go with 11 as they remained on top with a 5-0 slate.

Far Eastern University-Diliman, meanwhile, leaned on J.J. Domingo to trip University of the Philippines-Integrated School, 63-55.

NU drew strength from its huge edge on rebounds, 62-37, as it pushed the Baby Falcons’ winless streak to four.

Only Reiner Quinga finished in double digit points for Adamson with 17.

Domingo had 18 points and seven rebounds in leading the the Baby Tamaraws, who foiled Diego Dario’s 20 point-performance for the Junior Maroons.
