Philippines leads Kazakhstan, 32-15, after first quarter

MANILA, Philippines —  Smart Gilas Pilipinas leads Kazakhstan, 32-15, after the first quarter in their quarterfinal match in the 27th FIBA Asia men’s championships Friday.

Gary David came out firing off the bench as he uncorked three triples to give the Philippines a 19-point lead with 35 ticks left before the period ended.
