MANILA, Philippines — Adamson snapped its six-game losing skid and kept University of the Philippines winless with a 67-53 victory Saturday in the UAAP season 76 men’s basketball tournament.

Ingrid Sewa scored 18 points and collared 15 boards, Roider Cabrera 17 points and Jansen Rios 16 as the Falcons improved to 4-8 but are still a long shot for a spot in the final four.

Adamson led by as many as 15 points, 66-51, late in the game after UP stayed within striking distance in the first three quarters.

Raul Soyud was the lone scorer in double digits for the Maroons, who still failed to notch their first win after 10 tries, with 17 points as he also nabbed 14 rebounds.
