CEU extends win run to 7

By |

Centro Escolar demolished City University of Pasay, 81-31, Tuesday night to score its seventh victory in as many games in the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and University (Naascu) at RTU Gym.

The Scorpions, setting their sights on the title which slipped from their hands last year, seemingly had a scrimmage against the Eagles who were never in the game.

CEU led beyond recall, 79-22, on a triple by playmaker Jonathan Costanos before coasting along to hand CUP its sixth loss in seven games.

Later, defending champion St. Clare drubbed New Era, 84-41, for its sixth win in seven games.

In the other seniors game, Fatima defeated Rizal Technological, 62-58, to improve to 4-3, tying its victim.
