MANILA, Philippines – PBA Commissioner Chito Salud is set to handout this Friday the verdict for erring players involved in Wednesday night’s brawl-marred GlobalPort-San Mig Coffee match.

Salud met separately with Mixers’ Marc Pingris and Joe Devance, and the Batang Pier’s Kelly Nabong and Marvin Hayes — who all figured in the melee at the Cuneta Astrodome — in his office in Libis, Quezon City on Thursday.

Nabong and Hayes arrived at the PBA office at around 3 p.m., followed by Pingris who came in with Alvin Patrimonio, and then Devance last.

Salud on Wednesday vowed to mete out sanctions, but not before going through the due process and thorough review of the on-court incident.

At the 8:11 mark of the third quarter in San Mig Coffee’s 102-88 win over GlobalPort, a fight broke out which saw Devance deck Hayes, Pingris punch Nabong who retaliated by throwing a knee at Pingris.

Hayes and Devance were assessed technical fouls each for second motion, while Pingris and Nabong were both thrown out for fighting.
