Derrick Rose back in Manila for 2-day tour
MANILA, Philippines — NBA superstar Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls came back to this city like he never left.
Rose, who played exhibition games here back in 2011, is back for a two-day Adidas tour.
“It feels great to be back here. I’m happy to be here,” said Rose, who arrived Saturday.
The 24-year-old Rose drew a packed crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday as fans, many donning Rose’s Bulls jersey, welcomed the three-time All-star with deafening cheers.
Rose, who unfortunately sat out last season due to an ACL tear, will be at the SM Mall of Asia on Monday for the final stop of his visit.
