MANILA, Philippines — Showing no letup, top seed Petron Blaze cruised past GlobalPort, 101-90, in the 38th PBA Governors’ Cup Sunday night at the Cuneta Astrodome.

The Boosters, who are already assured of the best record and a twice-to-beat edge in the quarterfinals coming in, remained relentless with import Elijah Millsap and Marcio Lassiter leading the charge.

Millsap and Lassiter scored 18 points each while Arwind Santos and June Mar Fajardo also registered double-digit scoring with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

The streaking Boosters rolled to their eighth straight victory after dropping their first game of the conference.

The Batang Pier dropped to 3-5 with their loss also booking the Barako Bull Energy Cola a slot in the quarterfinals.
