Anvaya Cove triathlon gets going Oct. 19

RACERS of all ages vie for the crown in the 6th Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon starting on Oct. 19 at Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club (ACBNC) at Morong, Bataan.

The two-day event, organized by the Anvaya Cove club and the Triathlon Association of the Philippines, will kick off with the 25m swim -200m run SuperTriKids and an aquathlon race for age 8-under.

Also featured are the various race distances for ages 9-10 (200m swim-2K bike-1K run), 11-12 (300m swim-4K bike-2K run) and 13-15 (400m swim-8 K bike-3K run).

The following day, the male and female open divisions and age group competitions will feature the 1.2K swim-32K bike-6K run sprint triathlon and also a family relay.

Winners will receive medals and gift items in the event also backed by Globe Business, Ayala Land Premier, Gatorade, Fitness First, Philippine Sports Commission,  Asian Centre for Insulation Philippines, Standard Insurance and Subic Vantage Point Camera Club.
