MANILA, Philippines— Talk ‘N Text and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel will have to wait for another day.
The PBA has decided to cancel the crucial game between the Tropang Texters and Gin Kings scheduled Monday due to the continuous rains that has caused flooding in various parts of the country.
The Ginebra-TNT match for the last quarterfinals slot will instead be played Tuesday at 7:15 pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The 38th PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals will begin Wednesday with Meralco facing Barako Bull and San Mig Coffee taking on Alaska in the second game. Both the Bolts and the Mixers hold a twice-to-beat edge.
The Texters forged a playoff after ripping the Kings, 113-99, Sunday night.
