PCCL: Hargrove leads FEU drubbing of NU

MANILA, Philippines — Anthony Hargrove and Mike Tolomia combined for 52 points as Far Eastern University ripped National University, 88-70, in the stepladder Sweet 16 phase of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) Monday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Hargrove was highly efficient from the field hitting 13 out of 15 shots en route to a 28-point, 13-rebound effort while Tolomia added 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting.

Two-time UAAP MVP Ray Parks paced the Bulldogs with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The Tamaraws hardly missed the absence of their former star players in RR Garcia and Terrence Romeo, who are already strutting their stuff in the pro league, with Hargrove and Tolomia filling in the void.
