Another crack at a world title awaits Michael Farenas if he gets past Mexican Jesus Rios in the headliner of First Blood, the inaugural offering of MAG Pacman International Promotions, on Dec. 13 at Solaire Resort and Casino in Pasay City.

Farenas, who has challenged for the world title twice but came up short both times, is being lined up for a duel with  WBO super featherweight king Mikey Garcia on Feb. 22.

That is, if Farenas (34 wins, 4 losses, 4 draws with 28 knockouts) beats Rios (26-4-1, 20 KOs).

Farenas, Peñalosa and Pumicpic were introduced in a press conference by MAG Pacman initiators Anson Tiu-Co and former two-division world champion Gerry Peñalosa yesterday.

Co said ticket sales will be donated to the victims of Supertyphoon “Yolanda.” First Blood is being supported by Toby’s, San Miguel Corp., Viktor, Siscor, Family Rubbing Alcohol and Solaire.
