THE PHILIPPINE Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) gives a peek of future varsity stars as four topnotch high school squads spice up the action.

Five-time NCAA juniors champion San Beda, UAAP juniors king National University, Tiong Lian titlist Hope Christian High School and NCAA runner-up La Salle Green Hills battle in a benefit series on Dec. 16, serving as an appetizer to the men’s basketball tournament.

Proceeds of the benefit games will go to various projects of the ABS-CBN Foundation, including Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig and Bantay Bata.

The men’s round-robin Final Four kicks off tomorrow with UAAP champion La Salle clashing with Visayas-Mindanao Sweet 16 winner Southwestern University at 2 p.m. at Blue Eagle Gym in Ateneo.
NCAA titlist San Beda will take on Luzon-Metro Manila Sweet 16 topnotcher Far Eastern University at 4 p.m.
