MANILA, Philippines — Now they’re gone.

The last of the remaining Filipinos in the singles draw, Monica Therese Cruz, Maia Bernadette Balce and Chrislyn Colleen Sioson, also bowed out Wednesday in the Mitsubishi Lancer international junior tennis championships at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

Cruz, one of the two locals who drew  byes to the second round, took a 6-2, 6-1 beating from 13th seed Maddison Inglis of Australia. Balce was no match for the powerful 15-year-old Raveena Kingsley of the United States, 6-0, 6-1, before Chrislyn Colleen Sioson absorbed a 6-0, 6-0, loss to No. 2 Greetje Minnen.
