NU blanks San Sebastian for 3-0 mark

MANILA, Philippines – National University remained unbeaten following a 25-16, 25-19, 25-16 win over San Sebastian in the Shakey’s V-League Season 11 First Conference Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Dindin Santiago scored 13 points while Aiko Urdas and Jaja Santiago tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively for the Lady Bulldogs.

NU improved its record to 3-0 to lead Group B while San Sebastian, which missed the services of power hitter Gretchel Soltones due to an injury, fell to 1-2.

Czarina Berbano and Jolina Labiano had eight apiece for the Lady Stags, who only had one block in 22 attempts at the net.
