NCAA 90 blasts off June 28

MANILA, Philippines — San Beda aims for a fifth straight NCAA men’s basketball championship even as Lyceum and Emilio Aguinaldo College try to boost their bids for regular membership when Season 90 rolls off this month.

The Red Lions, hoping to match San Sebastian’s title romp from 1993 to 1997, kick off their campaign against host Jose Rizal University at 12 noon on opening day on June 28 at Mall of Asia Arena.

Focus will also be on probationary members Lyceum and EAC, just a couple months after Arellano was granted regular membership following its strong performances in various events.
