While Villareal was able to shake the collision off, Younghusband had to be stretched out of the pitch with just a few minutes left before the end of regulation.

Younghusband, whose side lost to Team James, 0-1, in the conclusion of the Clear Dream Match trilogy, was immediately taken to the nearby St. Lukes Hospital.

Cathy Nazareno, the Younghusbands’ manager, said there was nothing to worry about. She said Phil was OK and was only rushed to the hospital for precautionary measures.

In a later tweet, she added that results of the CT Scan, cervical spine x-ray all came back normal, although Younghusband will be confined 24 hours for observation.
