Jay Bayron ties for eighth in KL

KUALA LUMPUR—Jay Bayron closed with 4-under-par 68 Saturday and finished in a two-way tie for eighth place at the PGM Vascory Templer Park Championship won Malaysia’s Gavin Kyle Green, who became the first amateur to win on the Asian Development Tour. Bayron wound up with an 280 total, way off the 262 of Green, who closed with a 64 for an 11-stroke victory over countryman Airil Rizman. Asian Tour News
