Treat Huey and British partner Dominic Inglot are in a tough draw but the Filipino hotshot still expressed confidence in their men’s doubles campaign in the ongoing Wimbledon championship in London.

The 28-year-old Huey, who was born and raised in Washington DC, said he and Inglot are in high spirits after capturing the Aegon International title last week.

Seeded 10th, Huey and Inglot will take on Mate Pavic of Croatia and Andre Sa of Brazil in the opening round slated later in the week.

Huey and Inglot could face India’s Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan’s Aisam Qureshi who are seeded eighth in the third round.

It will be the fourth appearance for the partners in Wimbledon where their best finish was reaching the third round last year.

If they get past Bopanna and Qureshi, they could encounter second seeds Alexander Peya of Austria and Bruno Soares of Brazil—whom they beat in the Aegon finals—in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals, they might face fifth seeds Leander Paes of India and Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic.  Marc Anthony Reyes
