Abalos Cup benefit golf Friday at Wack Wack

MANILA, Philippines — A benefit golf tournament highlighting the 52nd birthday celebration of Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos will be held this Friday at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong.

Billed as the 7th Mayor Benhur Abalos Golf Cup, the tournament,  organized by the Mandaluyong Golf Club in cooperation with the SM Group, Wack Wack Golf and Country Club and DDT Kosntract, will have two shotgun starts at 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Newly elected Wack Wack chair Ben Abalos and champion golfer Charlene Abalos will hit the ceremonial drives at 12 noon.

The event aims to raise funds for the Ciara Marie Abalos Foundation, an institution that extends health care and educational aid to the less fortunate.
