Perpetual Help needed four extra periods to finally nail its first win, outlasting Diliman Preparatory School, 138-125, in the penultimate day of the elimination round of the 1st Jumbo Plastic Linoleum Cup 2014 held over the weekend at Enderun Colleges gym in Taguig.
JC Angeles sizzled with 30 points on top of nine rebounds and six assists as the Altalettes completed their comeback from 12 points down in the first half to end a six-game skid.

Perpetual will next take on No. 2 Chiang Kai Shek College on Saturday.
The CKSC Dragons rolled to their sixth straight win by downing Far Eastern U, 93-89, through the 22-point effort of JV Gallego.
In the other game, University of the Philippines turned back Adamson, 90-85, for its third straight win.
UP finished the elimination at No. 4 with a 4-3 card.  Ateneo, which finished with a 7-0 card, along with CKSC, FEU and UP will enjoy twice-to-beat privileges over their rivals.
