Pagunsan slips 9 shots off Toshin leader

GIFU, Japan—Juvic Pagunsan fired a one-under-par 71 Friday to trail behind South Korea’s Hur In-Hoi by nine shots halfway through the Toshin Golf here. Pagunsan’s 136, counting an opening 65, put him in a 12-way tie for 18th place. Hur had a 63 for 127 and kept the lead. Japan’s Kunihiro Kamii had a similar 63 and trailed by three at 130 while first-round co-leader and defending  champion Yoshinori  Fujimoto (67) shared third with compatriot Ryuichi Oda (66) at 131.
