“We pulled it off together in the second half,” Tautuaa said.

Cagayan seized control in the second quarter, where the Rising Suns outscored the Giants, 23-12.

Cagayan head coach Alvin Pua got tossed at the start of the second half after making contact with a referee and Tautuaa said the ejection “fired up” the team.

The Giants shot just 28% from the field and committed 28 turnovers that gave the Rising Suns 27 points off their errors. They dropped to 5-3.
