NCA opens new season

The long wait is over. After a blockbuster 2013-2014 derby circuit, the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) opens the new season with a derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor today at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Hosts Rene Medina and Eric dela Rosa have invited the country’s top cockers and breeders to compete against NCA members.

The guest campaigners include  lawyers  Salazar and  Sevillaja, Danny Lim and Bong Pineda.

They will battle NCA cockers Ito Ynares, Patrick Antonio, the Firefly Group, Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Elan Nagaño, Danny Soriano, Ronnie Puno, Joel Teves, Harold Ramos, Mario Villamor, Atong Ang, Luding Boongaling, Eugene Martin and Efren Canlas for the championship.

Part of the proceeds of all NCA derbies goes to a scholarship fund for college students at University of the Philippines in Los Baños.

The next derby with Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, and Elan Nagaño as hosts is slated Jan. 6.
