Elorde holds 3 title fights

Big-time boxing will welcome the New Year at the grand ballroom of Elorde Sports Center in Sucat Parañaque on Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. when Elorde International Productions headed by Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde presents the triple international championship bouts dubbed “Bakbakan sa Elorde.”

World Boxing Council international bantam champion Rex Wao will make his first title defense against former WBC Silver super flyweight champion Silvestre Lopez in the main event.

In the chief support, Dennis Tubieron, former WBC international bantam champion battles Carlo Magali of Brico Santig stable for the vacant WBC international featherweight championship.

Also featured is Japanese Tosho Makoto Aoki, who will defend his IBF Australian lightweight crown against Indonesian Rengga Rengga.

The preliminaries will pit Rolly Sumalpong against Michael Landero in a 10-round bout. Six round encounters feature Rommel Olivares vs Vincent Bautista, Singh Mujtaba Kamal vs Romnick Dejano and Alvin Medura vs Edward Camion.
