In a statement, the UFC said that it “will cooperate with the (Nevada State Athletic) commission on the matter and fully supports Lombard’s right to a due process hearing before the commission.”

Lombard is the fourth fighter in the UFC to test positive in a drug test in just over a month after Jon Jones, Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz.

Jones was caught for use of benzoylecgonine, a main component of cocaine, after a pre-fight drug test for UFC 182. The former middleweight champion Silva tested positive for two anabolic steroids while Diaz was revealed to have used more than the allowable amount of marijuana metabolites in Nevada after post-fight drug screens for UFC 183.
