Lady Eagles’ Tai Bundit gives advice to Blue Eagles’ coach Oliver Almadro
MANILA, Philippine—From a champion coach to a still-finding-his-championship coach.
Ateneo Blue Eagles head coach Oliver Almadro said Lady Eagles head coach Tai Bundit shares some trade secrets with him inside their campus along Katipunan.
“He said many things that I should do, he gives me advice,” Almadro said Friday after his Eagles took game one of the UAAP Volleyball finals against National University. “He told us to ‘do this’ and ‘do that.'”
Almadro is the coach of Ateneo’s Men’s Volleyball Team and Bundit, the happy dancing coach of the women’s team, has been his pseudo mentor every time the two teams train together.
“I’m happy that both the men’s and women’s teams are helping each other,” Almadro said. “We’re a family in Ateneo.”
