Texters beat Rain or Shine, take PBA finals game 1

Talk ‘N Text took Game 1 of the 2015 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals with a 99-92 win over Rain or Shine Wednesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Game 2 is on Friday night with the series shifting to the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Tropang Texters carried over their momentum from the semifinals where they knocked off defending champion Purefoods in four games while the Elasto Painters failed to take advantage of the one week rest they earned for sweeping Meralco in their semifinals match up.
Ranidel de Ocampo led the Texters with 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field.
