Seigle: Ivan was defamed but…

/ 12:17 AM April 29, 2015

Danny Seigle Tuesday posted a statement on his Instagram account asking why the PBA has not taken action on what he said was a defamation hurled at Talk ‘N Text teammate Ivan Johnson.

“Ivan has a family, wife and children,” Seigle wrote in his dannyseigle42 account. “This will not be his only job and it is not fair to him to have his rep smeared just because it is allowed.”

Though he did not specifically say it in his post, Seigle was obviously referring to part of Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao’s statement after Sunday’s Game 6 of the Commissioner’s Cup Finals: “I think he (Johnson) is mentally unstable.”

Guiao went to that length after Johnson’s run-ins with several Elasto Painters, including one where he hit Paul Lee smack in the face with an open hand.
