As the Southeast Asian Games draws nearer, Philippine volleyball head coach Roger Gorayeb asks for the fans’ unity as they go up against the regions’ powers.

“I’ll just try to understand them and I ask for their unity,” Gorayeb said after their Friday practice at Blue Eagle Gym in Ateneo.

Gorayeb added he would grant the fans’ wishes, “50 players are not enough to make the national team.”

Friday’s practice was also the first time the 12 players were all present.

“We were complete for the first time,” Gorayeb said. “I wish no one goes missing in Singapore.”
