Cray, Richardson clinch 100m dash gold medals for PH

The Filipinos showed they are the fastest in Southeast Asia.

Eric Cray and Kayla Anise Richardson clinched the gold medals in the men’s and women’s 100-meter run, respectively, in the 28th SEA Games at National Stadium in Singapore to hike the country’s gold medal haul to 12 as of posting.

Cray clocked in a personal-best 10.25 seconds to edge two Indonesian bets  Yaspi Boby and Iswandi Iswandi, who both crossed the finish line at 10.45 seconds.

Richardson, meanwhile, registered 11.76 seconds in a tight finish in the women’s century dash. Tassaporn Wannakit of Thailand came in a close second while Shanti Pereira of Singapore finished third.
