SINGAPORE—Track ace Eric Cray made it a double-gold performance for the Philippines after winning the men’s 400m hurdles in record-breaking fashion in the track and field competitions of the 28th Southeast Asian Games at 55,000-seat National Stadium here.

Cray, a 26-year-old Filipino-American from San Antonio, Texas, clocked 49.40 seconds to retain the title in his pet event and set a new Games record that erased the 20-year-old mark of Thailand’s Chanon Keanchan (49.76).
