NATIONAL pool members stormed the track and field competitions as rains failed to stop action in the Philippine Olympic Committee-Philippine Sports Commission (POC-PSC) National Games Luzon qualifying leg at Philsports Arena yesterday.

At the Rizal Memorial Swimming Center, golden boy Maurice Sacho Ilustre bagged two more golds after ruling the boys 200-meter freestyle and the 1,500m freestyle. He now has five golds in his collection after taking three mints last Friday.

Sixteen-year-old Karen Janario of University of Santo Tomas ruled the girls 100-meter hurdles in 15.28 seconds, stamping her class over the competition and proving her worth once again.
