Gilligan’s enters PSL quarters, downs Petron Sprint 4T
Gilligan’s did not mind the rain as it sizzled in its comeback against Petron Sprint 4T, 18-21, 21-17, 15-9, on Saturday to enter to the quarterfinals of Philippine Super Liga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup at SM Mall of Asia By the Bay.
Danika Gendrauli softly tapped for a little crosscourt attack that put her and partner Jane Diaz to the quarterfinals beating Fille Cayetano and Alex Micek in the Group D match.
Petron was poised for a cruise after a strong first set but the Sisig Queens spiced it up in the second set.
Gilligan’s then came sizzling in the third set as the Sisig Queens never let up and destroyed Petron’s quarterfinal hopes.
