V-League: Ateneo books first semis seat

Ateneo formally entered the semifinals of the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Collegiate Conference, sweeping Arellano, 25-14, 25-17, 25-19, on Saturday at San Juan Arena.

 
Alyssa Valdez continued her dominance, leading the Lady Eagles with 20 points powered by 18 kills.

 
Amy Ahomiro added 13 on an all-around effort of eight spikes, three blocks, and two service aces.

Ateneo is the first team to advance to the semifinals after going undefeated after five matches.
