Washington for Miranda a done deal

Lost in the madness of the 2015 Gatorade PBA Rookie Draft, the Office of the Commissioner approved the Jay Washington-for-Denok Miranda trade on Sunday.

GlobalPort re-acquired Washington from Talk ‘N Text as the Batang Pier continued to be an active player in the offseason.

Washington’s entry is just the latest of GlobalPort’s moves, after getting Joseph Yeo and Jervy Cruz in prior trades.

Miranda, meanwhile, will be a big help for the rebuilding Tropang Texters, providing the much needed help for Jayson Castro in the guard position.
