Salvado bags 2 crowns in Cellular tilt

Team Prima’s Arthur Samuel Salvado Jr. downed Space Shuttle Kidapawan’s Harvey Michael Enriquez, 21-17, 21-7, to capture the boys’ under-15 singles title in the Mindanao Leg of the Sun Cellular Badminton tournament at Smash N’ Drop Badminton Center in San Pedro Extension, Davao City.

Moments after his singles triumph, Salvado teamed up with Firing Squad/Talomo Anchors’ Jennifer Helyn Saladaga in overpowering Metro Kidapawan’s Ralph Batalon and Camille Buagas, 21-8, 21-13, to clinch the U15 mixed doubles crown.

Metro Kidapawan’s Lady Zazhca Tuario beat Space Shuttle Kidapawan’s Isabel Gem Neri, 21-14, 21-19, for the girls’ singles U13 gold while Space Shuttle Kidapawan’s Catherine Joyce Barrientos bested Metro Kidapawan’s Allysandra Orfrecio, 21-9, 21-14. Other winners were Agustin Alvarez Jr. and Ralph Batalon of Metro Kidapawan and Karylle Kaye Molina of Team Anchors and Saladaga of Firing Squad/Talomo Anchors (U15 doubles).
