UNTV Cup: Judiciary takes on House
Defending champion Judiciary tries to close out its first round campaign on a winning note as it collides with House of Representatives Sunday in the 4th UNTV Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The 5 p.m. match is important for both the Magis (1-3) and the Solons (1-2) if they want to turn their fortunes around.
The Magis ended a three-game losing start with an 89-83 win over the Ombudsman Graft Busters in Group B action last month.
The Solons, meanwhile, are coming off an 82-66 loss to the Metro Manila Development Authority Black Wolves.
In other matches, MMDA (2-2) collides with winless Ombudsman (0-4) in Group B at 2 p.m. while 1-3 holders Department of Justice tackles Government Service Insurance System in Group A at 3:30 p.m.
Armed Forces of the Philippines completed a five-game sweep of the Group B elimination with a 107-94 triumph over Ombudsman last week.
