Alaska Tri Aspire standouts Jenny Guerrero and Paul Jumamil reigned supreme in the elite divisions of the Safeguard for Men 5i50 Triathlon in Bohol over the weekend.

Falling short in two major races early this year, the 30-year-old Guerrero, who saw action in the swimming event of the 2000 Sydney Games, captured her first title of the year by topping the women’s elite race.

The Bohol-born Jumamil, 23, bested a formidable field in the men’s elite race to collect his second title of the year after ruling the same division of the Bantayan Triathlon.
