TOP Filipino amateur Princess Superal managed a two-over-par 74 late Wednesday but still widened her lead to 11 shots and virtually clinched the 2015 Pondok Indah International Junior golf tournament title over home ace Putri Aisyah Amani in Jakarta late Wednesday.
Counting her 71 Tuesday, Superal had a 36-hole total of 145 going into the final round.
Amani limped home with a quadruple bogey-9 on the 18th hole for a 79 and 156 total at Pondok Indah course.
Superal, the spearhead of The Country Club team and former US Girls’ Junior champ, is seeking her fourth straight victory in the last five weeks.
Rachel Lim of Singapore shot an 84 for 166.
Mikhaela Fortuna compensated for her only bogey on No. 13 with birdies on the next two holes for a 69 and a 140 total, six clear of Indonesian Rivani Shihotang in Class A, Shihotang carded a second 73 for a 146.
Bernice Olivarez Ilas was also poised for another victory, shooting a 71 for 145, five up on Meva Helina Schmit of Indonesia (72-150).
