After being ruled out of the Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes, WBA junior welterweight champion Adrien Broner expressed his disdain for Top Rank big boss Bob Arum.

In a strongly-worded post on his social media accounts, Broner said Arum took the shot to fight Pacquiao away from his because he didn’t want to sign with Hall of Fame promoter.

“Bob Arum bitch a** don’t want to make the fight because he’s upset I ain’t sign with him when he tried to sell me a dream at his crib in LA,” Broner wrote. “It’s a lot of bulls*** that go on behind the doors of boxing. I’m just somebody who go stand up for myself and make my own money. I’m my own brand I don’t need nobody but the people I been with.”

In an earlier report of BoxingScene.com, the Cincinnati fighter has been slashed from the list of potential opponents for Pacquiao’s April 9 bout slated in Las Vegas, which could possibly be the last fight of eight-division world champ as he is reportedly set to run for a seat in the Philippine Senate.

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, who fought Pacquiao in two previous fights, now emerge as the frontrunner but also in consideration are WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford and British star Amir Khan.

Broner was reportedly personally contacted by Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz for a possibility of a fight before Arum shut the possibility down.
