PBA Commissioner’s Cup opens Feb. 10

With Ivan Johnson back in the fort, TNT Tropang Texters begin their title defense when the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup tips off on February 10 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
TNT kicks off the tournament when it goes up against the resurgent Blackwater at 4:15 p.m., followed by the duel between rebuilding squads Star and Meralco at 7 p.m.
The PBA has released a schedule for the first seven days of the upcoming conference.
GlobalPort hopes to build on its promising semifinals finish in the Philippine Cup as the Batang against Mahindra on February 12, Friday, at 4:15 p.m. It will be followed by an exciting tussle between Ginebra and NLEX at 7 p.m. still at the same venue.
The Big Dome will also play host for the Valentine’s Day battle between Ginebra and GlobalPort that Sunday, as well as the first game for new franchise Phoenix Petroleum as it braces for NLEX the next Wednesday, February 17.
