UFL: Global bounces back, demolishes Nomads

Global bounced back by repulsing Nomads, 4-0, Sunday night in Group B of the United Football League Cup at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Ivorian striker Arthur Kouassi and Matt Hartmann scored two goals each for Global, which came into the game reeling from the forfeiture of its match against Green Archers for exceeding the foreigner limit.

The league overturned Global’s 2-1 win, giving Archers a 3-0 victory.

Earlier, Forza was awarded a 3-0 win over Laos after a technicality.
