National University pulled off another double championship in lawn tennis, while Adamson moved within a win of an outright title berth in softball in recent UAAP action.

Led by season MVP Leander Lazaro, the  Bulldogs dominated University of the Philippines, 3-0, to capture their fourth straight championship in menís lawn tennis at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center over the weekend.

The Lady Bulldogs, with Christine Patrimonio copping the MVP a year after her younger sister Clarice took the honor, also reigned for the third straight season following a 3-0 shutout of University of Santo Tomas.

In softball, the Lady Falcons tripped La Salle, 4-2, to stretch their record winning streak to 73 games Monday at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium. The Lady Falcons are unbeaten in 11 games this season, just a win away from clinching an outright Finals berth.
