UAAP: FEU booters pin first defeat on UST
DEFENDING champion Far Eastern University dealt University of Santo Tomas its first loss with a 4-0 rout last Saturday in the men’s football tournament of UAAP Season 78 at McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig.
Dave Deloso opened the scoring in the 32nd minute and doubled the Tamaraws’ lead in the 64th minute.
FEU tied La Salle with 17 points but took the No. 2 spot on goal difference. UST remained on top with 18 points.
In Sunday’s games, National University drubbed University of the East, 2-0, and University of the Philippines downed La Salle, 2-0.
