Tabal, Poliquit vying in Boston Marathon Monday

REIGNING Milo Marathon champions Mary Joy Tabal and Rafael Poliquit Jr. will be among about 32,000 runners taking part in the Boston Marathon which gets going on Monday from the rural New England town of Hopkinton. The 26-year-old Tabal and Poliquit, 27, will be part of the first wave of runners that will answer the starting gun at 10 a.m. (10 p.m. in Manila). The duo’s all-expense paid trip to the world’s oldest marathon is part of their prize for winning the Milo race last December. Romina Austria
