Philippines obliterates Thailand in Seaba Under-18

The Philippines took a fairly easy route to open its campaign in the Seaba Under-18 Championship toying with Thailand 101-45, Saturday in Medan, Indonesia.

BACKSTORY: Batang Gilas starts bid in SEABA tilt

Jolo Mendoza led Batang Gilas with 16 points, 12 of which came from the three-point line, while Joshua Sinclair had a double-double performance of 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Batang Gilas is one of six teams competing in the tournament with the top three going to the Fiba Asia Under-18 Championship Games in Iran.
