National University banked on a strong fourth quarter to turn back Adamson, 65-57, and punch a semifinals ticket in the 2016 Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup Tuesday at San Juan Arena.
Med Salim scored a team-high 12 points that went with four rebounds and two blocks in just 18 minutes off the bench for the Bulldogs.
NU will draw the winner between San Beda and Arellano in another knockout tiff.
The Bulldogs shot a decent 45 percent from the field while also limiting the Falcons to only 28 percent shooting.
Papi Sarr notched a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for Adamson.
NU joined Ateneo in the Final Four after the Blue Eagles edged the Perpetual Help Altas earlier.
