GALLERY: Alyssa Valdez gives back to her fans
Alyssa Valdez sure knows how to give back to her fans.
Valdez, Philippine volleyball’s biggest star, took time off on Sunday to be with her supporters in a Grand Fans Day at Pasig Sports Complex.
The three-time UAAP MVP was joined by her father Roel and brother Nico as well as fellow Ateneo Lady Eagle Gretchen Ho and courtside reporter Laura Lehmann.
It also didn’t take long for Kiefer Ravena to show up in what proved to be one of the highlights of the event. Ravena, who won a pair of championships and a couple of MVPs as one of the stars of the Blue Eagles, surprised Valdez with a bouquet of flowers and a song number to the delight of the fans.
The 22-year-old Valdez, then, posed for pictures with her fans, some of whom came with sign boards expressing their admiration and love for their idol.
